We’re seeking a values-driven Director of Nursing to take the lead at a boutique private day hospital on the Gold Coast. This is a rare chance to oversee a multi-specialty theatre service with full operational autonomy – while being supported by a respected national healthcare group.

You’ll guide a highly skilled perioperative team, manage daily operations, and drive quality standards across services such as IVF, plastics, orthopaedics, and dental. The role offers a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on clinical leadership – ideal for someone ready to take the next step or seeking a long-term home.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all clinical and administrative operations
• Lead and mentor a scrub/scout and CSSD team
• Manage theatre lists, rostering, staffing, and consumables
• Drive NSQHS accreditation, audits, and clinical compliance
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and executives to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care

Who We’re Looking For:

• AHPRA Registered RN with 5+ years in a DON, NUM, or Ward Leadership role
• Demonstrated experience in perioperative leadership – scrub/scout capability highly regarded
• Strong understanding of consumables, staffing, and operational workflows
• Familiarity with NSQHS accreditation and audit frameworks
• IVF or day surgery exposure highly regarded
• Ready to start ASAP and open to relocating to the Gold Coast
