The Role
This Bulk Billing practice requires a locum General Practitioner. They are offering flexible hours and optional VMO and on call. On Call is 1 in 4 days. They can also arrange visits to the local nursing homes on a scheduled basis. This is a broad general practice role, with an equal mix of indigenous to non-indigenous clients. A GP with a good understanding of Aboriginal Health and procedural skills would be highly regarded.

The Organisation
You will be supported by 1 full-time General Practitioner, 3 Registered Nurses and 26 staff across Admin and Reception. The clinic also provides dental on-site.  The team is well established and friendly with a very strong social culture. This practice prides itself on patient care ensuring you sufficient time to develop a strong rapport with your patients and build your practice. This modern and new practice is fully computerised. 

The Location
Located in the Warrumbungle Area, this delightful country town is the gateway to the scenic Warrumbungle National Park. It is close by to opal fields and the state forest. This location is a great base from which to explore the natural beauty of the region, search for birds in the wetlands and spend some time exploring in the forested gorges of the national park.
The Criteria 

  • General or Specialist AHPRA Registration 
  • Experience in Aboringal Health would be advantageous
