Position Overview:

Join a well-established mixed billing clinic in Port Douglas, QLD. The clinic is seeking a General Practitioner (GR or VR) to support their growing patient base. This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team of GPs and enjoy a collaborative work environment.

About the Clinic:

• Team: 8 part-time GPs, all working 4 days per week.
• Support Staff: Registered Nurses onsite at both clinics (focus on wound care and health assessments), administrative support, and a manager.
• Billing Model: Mixed billing with 65% of billings. Bulk billing for locals with concession cards, children until they leave school, and A&TS peoples. Discounts on standard fees for locals.
• Technology: Utilises Med Director and Prac-Soft for efficient practice management.
• Facilities: Located in shopping centers with easy parking. Onsite pathology at both locations. Currently, no visiting allied health.

Work Schedule:

• GP Appointments: 15-minute slots.
• Clinic Ownership: Owned by 3 practicing GPs who hold fortnightly meetings to discuss clinic matters.

Requirements:

• Registration: Must have GR or VR status. Support available for RACGP or ACRRM pathways.
• Eligibility: No limited, provisional, or supervision registration.
