We are currently seeking a VR General Practitioner to join a busy and well-regarded medical clinic in South Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment with excellent facilities, a strong patient base, and flexible work arrangements.

About the Clinic:

• Mixed billing model – bulk billing for children under 16 and pensioners over 65
• Billing discretion is up to the GP:
  • Item 23 – $96
  • Item 36 – $180
• Recently renovated clinic including a modern upstairs procedural room
• Strong community presence with a demographic of young families and middle to older-aged patients
• 3 GPs currently onsite
• Full-time nursing support
• Services include chronic disease management, health checks, minor procedures, and dressings
• Onsite allied health support including podiatry & psychology
• Best Practice software
• Pathology collection available onsite
• Onsite parking with overflow parking costs covered by the clinic

Position Details:

• Part-time role: Wednesdays and Fridays
• 15-minute appointments (maximum 4 patients per hour)
• Existing demand: current female GP is booked out 2 weeks in advance
• Supportive and collaborative clinical and admin team
• APHRA Specialist registration required

Remuneration:

• 70% of billings
• $170 per hour guaranteed for the first 3 months
