Position: General Practitioner (GP) Locum
Location: Urgent Care Centre, Alice Springs
Type: Locum
Hours: Monday to Friday 12noon-8pm.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 12noon-4pm

02nd December – 08th December
20th December – 03rd January 2025
January 06th – ongoing

About the Role:

This Urgent Care Centre in Alice Springs is situated close to Alice Springs Hospital, providing essential medical services to the community. The hard-working team pride themselves on delivering high-quality care in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

Job Description:

• Seeing approximately 4 patients per hour
• Onsite Xray Services
• Nurse support available at all times
• Non-life threatening treatments; all patients triaged before GP consultation
• No on-call duties or Emergency Department work
• Highly experienced team providing support

Requirements:

• VR/FRACGP qualification
• AMS/ED experience preferred but not essential
• ALS preferred but not essential

Benefits:

  • Weekdays: $1,875 per day
  • Weekends: $1,500 per day
