The  Role 
You will work as part of the Community Health team in this Monday – Friday position. Promoting optimal health and wellbeing for your clients through planning, delivering and evaluating diabetes-focused community education activities.
You will be working with a small team of registered nurses supported by the manager of Primary and Community health.

  • Salary up to $96,361pa + 12.75% super

  • Travel allowance up to $500

The Location
A large and lively Northern QLD outback town with a population of 21,000. There are plenty of amenities at your fingertips with numerous grocery and retail stores, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, family fun park and local swimming pool. The local airport allows daily connections to Brisbane and Cairns.

The Criteria
In order to be successful in this position, the following criteria is essential: 

  • AHPRA registration 
  • Credentialed Diabetes Educator 
  • National Police Clearance 
  • Experience working with Indigenous Clients
