The Role 
We are searching for  Nurse Managers to work across NSW Health in a small highly indigenous community.
Not only will you working clinically, but you will also be completing rosters, KPIs and manage full FTE staff. On-site, you will be working in ED, aged care and assisting with running the ambulance from the clinic and liaising with the Royal Flying Doctors service. There are no Doctors near this site and you will be required to triage. This is a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about remote nursing.

Based in a small remote community with a population of around 600 people, 80% of the population are Indigenous Australian. 
A beautiful area, close to the darling river with lovely old sandstone building. In the town there is a pub, hotel, coffee shop, supermarket, chemist, police station and post office. 
Although the position is located in a beautiful area, the location can also be very challenging and isolating, so would suit somebody who has experience working in a remote Indigenous community.

The Criteria:
As the successful applicant you will need to have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • General AHPRA registration
  • 2 + years clinical experience in Management 
  • Current Management experience in Australia
  • Working with Children check + Police check
  • Current immunisations
