The Role 
We are seeking and experienced Primary health nurse for a contract within a small Indigenous community in the Kimberley region if WA. You’ll be working with a team of RN’s with specialists and GP’s visiting the clinic. This is a Monday – Friday position. Your main duties will be Health Promotion, Health Education, assessments and Chronic Disease Management . You will also be assisting with the running of a small community clinic once a week, driving out with a GP and working with the allied health team.

The Location
This is a fantastic location for a short term contract, in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. You will be based within this small town approximately 400km east of Broome. The role will encompass travel within the various aboriginal communities spread throughout the valley.

Criteria
In order to be successful in this position you must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor of nursing 
WA WWCC
National Police clearance
Min 2 years indigenous health experience
Indigenous Health Experience
Community health background
