The Role
We are seeking an experienced sexual health nurse to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a small remote clinic.  This is a Monday – Friday position with no on call component. Your duties will include gynaecological screening – pap smears and screening for sexually transmitted Infections and blood borne viruses. Your role will largely be clinic based but some outreach to surrounding communities will also be required.
  
The Location
Located in a small remote town in the Kimberley region of WA. A great selling point of this health service is that the is it co located with the hospital and you will have access to the swimming pool. Its a social town and there are a lot of contract workers who get to know one another quite well making it easy to meet new people. You will be driving distance to some of the Kimberley’s glorious national parks, such at the Purnululu NP and the King Leopold Ranges Conservation Park.

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
Division 1 AHPRA registration 
Previous Sexual Health experience
Previous community experience working with Aboriginal population
