Permanent Speech Pathologist

Role Details:

• Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday) or part-time; no weekends required.
• Caseload: Primarily community-based, including home, hospital, and community visits.
• Demographics: 80% paediatric / 20% adult cases.
• Scope: Experience a diverse and stimulating caseload with children and adults dealing with neurological, sensory, and physical impairments. Daily structure includes 5 hours of client contact and 2 hours of admin, covering paediatric, geriatric, and private hospital acute referrals. Services include:
  • Clinic, home, school, and kindergarten therapy
  • Self-care, play, and social and life skills development
  • Learning, sensory processing, and motor skills support
  • Long-term therapy and care plans
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Developmental delays, feeding, and swallowing
  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) assessments
  • Child development, reporting, and NDIS-related services

Benefits:

• Salary Packaging: $80,000 – $115,000 + Super
