Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents? We are seeking skilled Shift-Filling Aged Care Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team to support our clients across metro Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, where you can use your clinical expertise to enhance the quality of care for older Australians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to aged care residents in line with individual care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per medical orders.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the broader healthcare team.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Act as a mentor for junior nursing staff and support care staff.
• Be adaptable and available to fill shifts as required, providing continuity of care.

Key Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in aged care is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility in working various shifts (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
• Valid driver’s licence and means of transport essential.
