We are seeking a General Psychologist to be part of a brand new Clinic in Ipswich on a Permanent Fulltime basis. Our client is a nationally recognised mental health service and this is like no other role, in this role you will support ex Veterans in a service that that prides itself on delivering specialist high quality care with a focus on improving psychological wellbeing, increasing social networks and long- term recovery. This model has shown to have be effective in the clinical treatment and welfare of the veterans they support.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Psychological Support in 20 min consultations on a long term basis.
  • Provide Support to clients in client and via telehealth
  • Support clients with a range of presentations such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, sleep, anger issues, addiction and relationship troubles.
  • Delivery of Therapy Interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Work as part of a Multidisplinary Allied Health team to provide Holistic Health Care to your clients.

  
About You 

  • Completed Qualification in Psychology  
  • Current General Registration with AHPRA
  • National Police Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Covid 19 vaccination including booster
  • Willingness to work one Saturday a month for Group Work in a casual setting.

  
Remuneration Package
Due to this model Psychologist have a high earning potential in a split billing arrangement under a sub contractor arrangement. If you are seeking a Salary Position, this can be negotiated based on experience.
