Our Story

When Cornerstone Medical Recruitment launched in 2012, it was with a single mission in mind: to truly impact the healthcare of Australians. Spying a gap in the market for a healthcare recruitment agency that covered a wide range of specialties, we decided to build a recruitment business that did things differently.

With husband-and-wife team Samantha and Norbert at the helm there was no stopping us. The killer combination of Sam’s enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit and Norbert’s technical know-how has propelled us forward to become a market-leading national network of consultants and contractors.

It’s been a wild ride so far. But one thing that’s remained constant is our determination to improve our industry. Our business is built on people, connections, community and an obsession with doing things better.

Making an Impact

We are partnering with the Children’s Hospital Foundation to provide sick kids and their families support and entertainment in hospital, fund vital research and help purchase new, life-saving equipment.  

We have a number of giving options such as salary sacrifice, placements with impact – where a percentage of the placement is donated to CHF, donation’s through myCMR Shop and fundraising events.
