Our Mission
Our partnership with the Children’s Hospital Foundation represents our commitment to making a lasting difference in our community.
We understand how important it is to help our healthcare community and the patients they serve. By collaborating with the Children’s Hospital Foundation, we aim to provide diverse donation and volunteer opportunities for our team and the broader Cornerstone Community.
Reflecting on our journey, Samantha Miklos, our CEO, shares,
“It has been our goal to partner with a healthcare charity in our community and to make a positive impact on our healthcare community and the people they help every day.”
Making An Impact
The Children’s Hospital Foundation provides in-hospital entertainment and support for sick and injured kids and their families, funding vital research and helping to purchase new, life-saving equipment.
They impact families across Queensland and northern NSW, from the suburbs to the cities, rural, regional, and remote.
Join us in making an impact and discover the various ways you can get involved!

- Mycmr Shop Donations – Our healthcare workers can make a difference through MycmrShop, where you can round up your purchase transactions from uniforms to directly support the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
- Salary Sacrifice – cmr team members can explore the option of salary sacrifice to contribute directly to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
- Fundraising Events & Volunteering – Participate in our fundraising events to collectively make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families.

Launching our Partnership with CHF
Our journey with the Children’s Hospital Foundation began in June 2023 with a celebration on International Nurses Day and National Administrative Professionals Day. We expressed our gratitude to the incredible staff at the Queensland Children’s Hospital by distributing thank you cookies and cards.
42K Your Way
We raised $2K for the foundation’s month-long 42K Your Way challenge in 2023. We appreciated the support of our family and friends during our fundraising efforts and enjoyed coming together for the Launch walk from Woolloongabba to South Bank.
EKKA Volunteering Activities
Since our very first volunteering activity at Queensland Children’s Hospital in August 2023, we’ve returned each year to sort EKKA show bag items, bringing a touch of EKKA magic to kids in hospital. We’ve also helped create Hush Packs, providing caregivers with thoughtful resources to support much-needed rest by their child’s bedside.
Bridge to Brisbane
Our team has tackled both the 10km and the 4.5km Bridge to Brisbane in 2023 and 2024 to raise funds for the foundation in fun ways that keep our team active.
The Gift of Giving
Each year in December, our cmr team donate Christmas gifts and join the Children’s Hospital Foundation staff at Indooroopilly shopping Centre to wrap gifts and support the incredible work of the Foundation. In 2024, we also ran a free coffee cart at Christmas time at Queensland’s Children Hospital to give back to the healthcare staff.
International Nurses Day
Our cmr team love providing coffee for all the hard working Nurses during the annual Internatinal Nurses Week. Set up out the front of Queensland Children’s Hospital, our Consultants enjoy every opportunity to get out in the community and give a little thanks to our hardworking healthcare workers.
International Doctors Day
To celebrate Doctors’ Day and the incredible work doctors do, our team has given back two years in a row at Queensland Children’s Hospital, sponsoring breakfast for their Grand Rounds in 2023 and delivering a pizza party in 2024 to say a big thank you.
