The Role: We are seeking experienced Mental Health Clinical Nurse’s for contracts in coastal Queensland. These public hospitals offer a comprehensive mental health care service, allowing you to work in a diverse and dynamic team alongside skilled professionals from various disciplines comprising nurses, psychologists, social workers, medical officers, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and peer workers with lived experience.

Your role will be to deliver discipline specific mental health clinical services, including mental state and risk assessment, triage, care planning and therapy interventions.

The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions.
• Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing at Clinical Nurse level and particularly within intake, assessment and triage.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
