The Role:
Contract role to start ASAP for up to 12 weeks.

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Clinical Nurse’s to work within Child & Youth Mental Health team within public hospitals in regional Queensland.

You’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. This dynamic role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement holistic treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. From conducting assessments and administering therapeutic interventions to offering guidance and education to families, the Clinical Nurse fosters a nurturing and healing environment.

The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions.
• Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing at Clinical Nurse level and particularly working within Child & Youth.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Availability: You’ll need to be available to start reasonably quickly and be available for at least 4 weeks, ideally for up to 12 weeks.
