Job Opportunity: Aged Care Services Manager

Please Note: Indigenous and remote experience is a must for this role.

As the Aged Care Services Manager, you’ll spearhead our efforts to deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care to our elderly population. If you’re an experienced leader with a passion for Indigenous and remote communities, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary: Are you ready to make a difference? As the Aged Care Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing programs, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Your role will play a pivotal part in providing quality care to our community’s elders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Aged Care Flexible program to meet community needs.
  • Oversee Commonwealth Home Care Packages, Home Support programs, and NDIS services.
  • Collaborate with accountants on budget allocation and individual client needs.
  • Maintain policies and procedures to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate client assessments to determine care requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulatory reporting.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advocate for clients as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Management and Nursing qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in Aged Care service management, particularly in Indigenous and remote communities.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Standards.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to community support and training.
