Job Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Innisfail, Queensland

Salary: $79,563 – $98,515 per annum + Super

Start Date: Flexible

Reporting To: Clinical Care Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a large 140-bed aged care facility in Innisfail, Queensland. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating client care needs, conducting assessments, case management, and developing care plans. You will also supervise Care Assistants and liaise with residents, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate client care needs, including assessments, case management, and developing care plans
  • Assist the clinical management team with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments
  • Supervise Care Assistants and provide guidance and support
  • Liaise with residents and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in medication rounds and ensure accurate administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

Role Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work a varied roster, including night and weekend shifts
  • Sound clinical knowledge and skills
  • Good computer and mobile device skills
  • Vaccination compliance (Influenza and Covid-19)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and develop AN-ACC knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
