Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Innisfail, Queensland
Salary: $79,563 – $98,515 per annum + Super
Start Date: Flexible

Reporting To: Clinical Care Manager
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a large 140-bed aged care facility in Innisfail, Queensland. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating client care needs, conducting assessments, case management, and developing care plans. You will also supervise Care Assistants and liaise with residents, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate client care needs, including assessments, case management, and developing care plans
- Assist the clinical management team with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments
- Supervise Care Assistants and provide guidance and support
- Liaise with residents and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals
- Participate in medication rounds and ensure accurate administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Role Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current CPR Certificate
- Ability to work a varied roster, including night and weekend shifts
- Sound clinical knowledge and skills
- Good computer and mobile device skills
- Vaccination compliance (Influenza and Covid-19)
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Willingness to learn and develop AN-ACC knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
