The Role:
As a Mental Health Clinical Nurse, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in diverse tasks including case management, intake assessment of consumers across various age groups, and delivering consultation services in emergency departments and hospitals within the area. This position offers invaluable exposure to a wide range of mental health scenarios, allowing you to make a tangible impact on the well-being of the community.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a crucial role in providing clinical assessment and treatment services to individuals grappling with severe mental health issues, including alcohol and drug-related problems.

• The Contract: Hours of work are between Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm and you could start ASAP, in August or September with varying lengths available.

The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess: Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions. Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing, particularly in community care including case management. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
