JOB TITLE: Locum Dental Assistant

LOCATION: North Queensland + Australia Wide

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary Contract (Locum), Full-time

SALARY: $28 – $43 per hour + Super

START DATE: in 3 – 4 weeks notice

CONTRACT LENGTH: Minimum 4 weeks

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Dental Assistants who are wanting to swap their mundane 9 – 5 for life changing experienced in regional and remote Australia. Cornerstone Medical Recruitment service private and public practices across the country and we’re searching for adventerous Dental Assistants to join our talent pool. A minimum Cert 3 in Dental Assisting is required as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Dental Assisting is desirable. Applicants must have current working rights in Australia and overseas dentists are not accepted.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and enjoyable work culture
