We are seeking Mental Health Clinicians to join the Acute Care Team who work in partnership with the Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit at the hospital, to ensure all clients are provided with evidence based therapeutic intervention and who are at risk of serious mental illness.

With multiple Locum contracts available across Australia.

· Excellent casual rates up to $70-80 per hour plus super

· Accommodation and travel allowance provided

· Ability to earn penalty rates on rotating roster

Key Responsibilities

· Managing a caseload of clients providing assessment and clinical treatment

· Providing case management and support for patients, their families, and carer(s)

· Identify and engage with other key community service providers involved in the provision of rehabilitation, recovery, support, and discharge planning consistent with the patients and family/carer(s) needs

· The role encompasses community consultation, awareness, and education activities to increase the understanding of psychiatric disorders and delivery models within the community

About You

– Qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for or full registration with AASW

– Previous experience in a similar role and setting; Acute Mental Health Service

– Well-developed communication, liaison, prioritization, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Salary

– Excellent casual rates, paying up to $70-80 per hour plus super (based on experience)
