Director of Pharmacy

Full-Time | Fixed Term (12 Months)

An established regional health service is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead its pharmacy services and champion innovation in medication safety and clinical practice. This is a meaningful opportunity to shape care delivery and make a lasting impact within a diverse community.

About the role

In this senior leadership position, you will provide both strategic direction and operational oversight across pharmacy services. You’ll play a pivotal role in advancing medication safety initiatives, supporting digital health transformation, and fostering strong multidisciplinary partnerships to enhance patient outcomes.

About you

You are a confident and collaborative pharmacy leader who is passionate about continuous improvement and building high-performing teams.

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist (not suitable for interns or provisional APRHA)
• Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, including time in leadership roles
• Demonstrated expertise in medication safety and quality systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Postgraduate qualifications in pharmacy, management, or health administration (desirable)
