An established, community-focused family practice is seeking a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VR GP) to join their friendly and supportive team in the coming months. This opportunity would suit a GP who values continuity of care, long-term patient relationships, and a holistic approach to family medicine.

About the Practice

• Established practice with 4 GPs (2.5 FTE)
• 9 consulting rooms in a modern clinic
• Best Practice clinical software
• Strong administrative and nursing support with 2 reception staff daily and dedicated nursing
• On-site allied health including physiotherapy and podiatry, with plans to expand allied health services
• On-site parking available for staff and patients

The Opportunity

• Ideally full-time, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week
• Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday clinic: 8:00am – 1:00pm (rostered fortnightly or monthly)
• Flexible appointment structure moving toward 15-30 minute consultations to support quality patient care
• Opportunity to build a diverse and loyal patient base

Billing & Earnings

• 65-75% of billings
• Typical consultation fees include:
  • Standard consult: Bulk billed
  • Long consult: $130
  • Bulk billing available for patients under 16, over 65, and concession card holders
• No hourly guarantees, with strong patient demand supporting consistent billings
• Potential future option for salary-based GP roles
