The Mother Baby Unit plays a vital role in providing specialized public mental health care tailored to support individuals with mental illness and parent-infant relationship challenges during the perinatal period, utilizing a family-inclusive approach. Operating within the continuum of care across the public mental health sector, our unit offers multidisciplinary services, including joint admission for consumers with their infants and ongoing family support throughout the perinatal journey. We seek individuals with a background in maternal and child health, coupled with a keen interest in perinatal and infant mental health.
