The Role 
We are seeking a Remote Area Nurse who has experience in Child Health for a contract position from 10th December for 13 weeks. You will be based in a 5 Nurse post clinic in remote Northern Territory . Predominantly you will be working as the clinic’s Child Health Nurse, however you will also be required to do emergency on call. You will be working with a highly skilled team of Nurses, Practitioners, and under the direct support of the Clinic Manager. In order to be successful you will need to be a highly experienced Nurse, who has previously worked in  remote/Indigenous communities, coupled with a strong Child Health background. The position is full time and a rotating roster of on call, you will have a 2nd person for all call outs.
  
The Location
Based in North Arhem lands in a small friendly Aboriginal community with around 900 people.
The area has a community store, library and a post office available. Your accommodation will be onsite only a very short walking distance to the clinic.

The Criteria
In order to be successful for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
AHPRA Registration
High level Child Health experience
Northern Territory WWCC (or be willing to obtain one) 
Remote/Aboriginal Health experience
ALS, REC, & MEC certificates – highly desirable 

The Package 
Successful applicants will be entitled to the following package:
Salary up to $112,403 + super
Penalty & remote allowances
All travel and flights included 
Free, fully furnished accommodation (not shared)
