The Role

As a Locum Clinical Nurse Specialist within our Mental Health ACT Team, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. We are requiring a nurse who is able to commit to a 12 week contract. Your responsibilities will encompass both the Emergency Department and the community settings. This dynamic locum role will involve collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, assessment and planning of patient care, medication administration, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Criteria:

To excel in this role, you should possess:
* Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions
* Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing, particularly in acute crisis settings.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively.
* Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
