The Role: We’re looking for a competent Mental Health Clinical Nurse with demonstrated experience in an Acute hospital setting.

In this role you will work within the multidisciplinary Acute Care Team and triage initial presentations, often through the emergency department. This is a busy team who are ideally looking for someone with previous experience within Queensland Health, who is confident in using the CIMHA system to enable you to provide impact quickly. You’ll work within a team of highly skilled Nurses, OT’s, Psychologists and Social Workers.

The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess: Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions. Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing, particularly in acute crisis settings. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
