About the Roles

As a cmr locum Nurse, you’ll work in essential Mental Health settings such as:

Intake & Triage

Manage crisis situations in high-pressure environments, providing immediate support and stabilisation for patients in urgent need.

Inpatient

Deliver day-to-day care for patients in recovery, including medication administration, assessment, and collaborative care planning.

Community

Support patients in their own communities-offering case management, follow-up care, and continuity that drives meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
  • 2+ years of Mental health nursing experience is a MUST, ideally with strong case management background
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • A current driver’s license (essential for regional placements)
  • Willingness to travel and commit to 12-week locum contracts
  • Current Police Check
  • Valid full work right in Australia

What Are the Benefits?

  • Up to $165 per day for meals & incidentals (claimed via iExpenses through NSW – receipts required). That’s $1,155 per week, and over a 12-week contract you can claim up to $13,860!
  • Additional hourly rate top-up – paid as a completion bonus at the end of your contract.
