We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join a growing multidisciplinary team based in Cairns, with similar opportunities available in Brisbane and Darwin. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-supported community role with strong career progression and development pathways.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working within a 100% community-based setting, with a clinic space opening soon. You will be delivering services across Cairns and surrounding regions, including outreach and occasional day trips to local communities.

The caseload is predominantly paediatric, with the opportunity to expand into working with adolescents and adults over time.
You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Physiotherapists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services in community settings
  • Manage a predominantly paediatric caseload with scope to broaden
  • Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and provide ongoing intervention
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in outreach services to surrounding communities

About You

  • Minimum 2-3 years post-graduate experience as a Speech Pathologist
  • Experience working within paediatrics (essential)
  • Experience with NDIS participants preferred
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full driver’s licence (required for community work)
