Recruitment Consultant – Allied Health

We’re thrilled to bring an exciting opportunity to join cmr’s Allied Health recruitment team to market. This position works Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, based in Fortitude Valley with hybrid flexibility after training.

You’ll be joining a current team of three, including two consultants who’ve been with us for three to four years. They’re people with deep knowledge across Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Speech Pathology who are there to help you get up to speed quickly. The desk spans both public and private practice, nationwide, and works closely with our Physiotherapy team, sharing client opportunities across the two specialties.

This one’s for the builders. There’s more opportunity in this space than we’ve even scratched the surface of — four modalities, public and private practice, a genuinely nationwide remit, and a physio team already opening doors alongside you. It’ll take grit to go after white space that hasn’t been touched yet, but the ceiling here isn’t set by target, it’s set by how much of it you’re willing to go and claim. • Strong base salary of $70k–$100k + super, pending your experience and performance in agency recruitment

What will you bring?
We’re looking for someone with genuine agency recruitment experience. Beyond that, we’re fortunate to have an established team and a leader who’s deeply invested in this role’s success. You may also bring:

• Strong sales experience 
• Experience within or awareness of the healthcare sector
• A relationship-first approach — you know how to build trust with candidates and clients alike

What will you be doing?

• Running a full-service desk across Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Speech Pathology, spanning both public and private practice, nationwide, with genuine autonomy to build it your way
• Driving your own business development — this is a BD-heavy desk, and you’ll be the one opening doors, not waiting for them to open
• Working closely with our Physiotherapy team, sharing client opportunities and building on an already-established network
• Building candidate relationships with real depth — allied health professionals value a genuine conversation, and you’ll own that relationship for the full cycle
• Thinking beyond the placement — seeing the bigger picture of how your desk fits into a growing specialty and a growing team
• Contribute to a team that is constantly pushing for better.
