Rural Generalist Registered Nurses – Mackay Region
Looking for your next nursing adventure? We have a range of exciting contract opportunities across the Mackay region, with positions available in Emergency, Medical and Surgical nursing.
Available locations include:
- Mackay Base Hospital – Emergency Department
- Moranbah
- Dysart
- Clermont
- Sarina
- Collinsville
With a mix of rural generalist and ED opportunities available, there’s plenty of variety for nurses looking to experience regional Queensland.

What we’re looking for:
- AHPRA-registered Registered Nurses
- Recent experience in Emergency, Medical and/or Surgical nursing
- Confidence working across a broad range of clinical settings
- Adaptability and the ability to work in rural generalist environments
- ALS, triage and resuscitation experience highly regarded
Contracts available from November 2026 through to January 2027.
