Director of Pharmacy

Full-Time | Contract 8-12 weeks

An established regional health service is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead its pharmacy services and champion innovation in medication safety and clinical practice. This is a meaningful opportunity to shape care delivery and make a lasting impact within a friendly community.

Must have full APRHA – not suitable for interns or provisonal registration

About the role

In this senior leadership position, you will provide both strategic direction and operational oversight across pharmacy services. You’ll play a pivotal role in advancing medication safety initiatives, supporting digital health transformation, and fostering strong multidisciplinary partnerships to enhance patient outcomes.

About you

You are a confident and collaborative pharmacy leader who is passionate about continuous improvement and building high-performing teams.

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist (not suitable for interns or provisional APRHA)
• Extensive Australian hospital pharmacy experience, including time in leadership roles
• Demonstrated expertise in medication safety and quality systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Pharmacy degree
