About the Role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join Emergency Departments across regional New South Wales. This opportunity is suited to nurses who are passionate about emergency care and confident managing a diverse range of acute medical, surgical, trauma, paediatric, and mental health presentations within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care while contributing to safe, effective, and timely emergency services for regional communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care across a broad range of emergency presentations.
• Recognise and respond to patient deterioration.
• Assist with resuscitation, trauma management, and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional standards.

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration nursing experience, including recent Emergency Department experience.
• Current Triage Certification.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification.
• Current Resuscitation (Resus) Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a regional or rural healthcare setting.
• Experience managing a broad scope of emergency presentations with varying levels of acuity.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
