Clinical Pharmacist | Regional Queensland Contract

We’re partnering with a welcoming regional hospital in Queensland to find an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract role. If you’re looking for a rewarding locum opportunity where you can make a genuine impact while exploring regional Australia, this could be the perfect fit.

This role is suited to pharmacists with hospital experience who are confident working independently across wards in a supportive team environment. Please note, this position is not suitable for interns or international candidates.

The role

You’ll be delivering clinical pharmacy services across a range of inpatient wards, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical pharmacy services across general medicine, surgical and rehabilitation wards
• Medication reconciliation, reviews and discharge counselling
• Admissions and discharge planning
• Participation in ward rounds and collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives

What you’ll need

• Full AHPRA registration – we don’t do any intern roles.
• Australian hospital pharmacy experience (public or private)
• Confidence working independently on wards
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
