THE ROLE

Our client is seeking experienced Oral Health Therapists to locum within their regional NSW Public Health service, primarily based within school based mobile dental vans. There are multiple locum roles available to start in August or September, for a minimum of 6 – 8 weeks or longer. This is an excellent opportunity to travel, gain valuable public health experience and support the oral health needs of regional school communities.

Clinic locations include Wagga Wagga/Griffith, Deniliquin/Albury or Bega/Moruya. The locum roles are suitable for interstate OHTs with accommodation and return travel provided.

THE BENEFITS

• Locum OHT role within a regional NSW Public Health school dental program
• August or September start date
• Minimum 6 – 8 week locum placement, with option to extend
• Monday-Friday each week (40 hours)
• Provide oral health assessments, examinations, preventive care, fissure sealants, restorations and health promotion to school-aged children
• Work independently in a school dental van, with support from the wider Public Oral Health team
• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s oral health within regional NSW
• Located in either Southern NSW or Murrumbidgee region
• Accommodation and return travel provided
• $60 – $65 per hour + super, based on experience
