We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a supportive allied health team delivering essential community health services in North West regional Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while being backed by an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Permanent candidates are preferred, however we are also happy to discuss full-time 6-month contracts for the right clinician.

The Role

This is a diverse clinic/community-based position supporting both adult and paediatric clients, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes within Indigenous communities.

Your caseload will include:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Musculoskeletal conditions
  • Arthritis and ageing-related conditions
  • Adult rehabilitation and functional assessments
  • Paediatric occupational therapy
  • Community clinics and regular outreach to remote communities

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Confidence managing both adult and paediatric caseloads
  • The ability to work autonomously as the sole clinician within clinic and community
  • Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care to regional and Indigenous communities
  • Current AHPRA registration and an unrestricted driver’s licence
