cmr is currently seeking experienced perioperative nurses for short-term travel nursing contracts across regional, rural and remote Australia. These opportunities are ideal for nurses who enjoy a change of scenery, want to explore new parts of the country and are confident working across different hospital environments.

About the roles

We are looking for nurses with experience across areas such as:

* Scrub/Scout
* Anaesthetics
* Recovery/PACU
* Perioperative All-Rounder
* Endoscopy
* Cardiac Cath Lab
* Day Surgery
* CSSD (Certificate IIi / IV)

A key requirement for these contracts is the ability to undertake ward redeployment when theatres are down or operating lists are reduced. You should be comfortable stepping outside the theatre environment and working safely within your scope of practice across acute hospital wards.

About you

To be considered, you will have:

* Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
* Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate operating theatre experience
* Recent clinical experience in your relevant perioperative speciality
* The ability to work across different hospital environments
* Confidence with ward redeployment when required
* Strong communication and adaptability
* A willingness to travel and embrace regional, rural or remote nursing
* Current References for your clinical skills and perioperative employment in the last 12 months
* Current Children Check and Police Check
* Full Australian Working Rights – No Sponsorship
* Current mandatory training, immunisation and compliance documentation as required by the hospital
