Christmas with cmr: Celebrating our Healthcare Workers Around Australia

By Monique Missak| Published 28 November 2025

At Cornerstone Medical Recruitment (cmr), our healthcare Christmas parties are more than just a festive get together, they’re a heartfelt way to celebrate, connect and say thank you to our community of healthcare workers who make a difference in communities across Australia.

Every year, we hit the road to host in-person events for our incredible candidates, many of whom are working away from home during the holidays. This year, we brought the Christmas cheer to Darwin, Hervey Bay, and Berri, and proudly hosted our very first party in Brisbane.

These healthcare Christmas parties are our way of creating space for connection, especially for agency healthcare workers and travel nurses, doctors and allied health professionals, who often spend the season far from family and friends. We know how important it is to feel seen and supported, and these events are a small but meaningful way to bring our community together.

For us, these in person moments of connection are a natural extension of how we support our candidates year-round. Whether you’re a travel nurse in remote Australia or a doctor in a bustling regional centre, we want you to feel part of something bigger. Because at cmr, being an agency healthcare worker isn’t just about the placement, it’s about the people and the journey we’re on together.

We’re proud to work alongside professionals who give so much of themselves every day. These events are just one of the ways we give back and celebrate that commitment.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this year. We’re already counting down to next year!

Hundreds of medical roles, every day.
