We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years’ recent ED experience to join busy hospital Emergency Departments across Queensland. You’ll provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to assess, triage and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage and monitor patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across acute and emergency presentations
• Provide care within the resuscitation area and respond to deteriorating patients
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years’ recent Emergency Department experience
• Demonstrated experience in triage, resuscitation and acute emergency care
• Current ALS certification (highly regarded)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
