About the Role

You will be rostered across North West Regional Hospital, Burnie and Mersey Community Hospital, Latrobe, providing specialist emergency care within supportive multidisciplinary teams.

As doctors work across both hospital sites, a current Australian driver’s licence is essential.

Minimum commitment: 5 shifts (required to support interstate travel arrangements).

Shift Times

E MOIC: 7:30am – 5:00pm

E: 7:30am – 5:00pm

L: 2:00pm – 11:30pm

L MOIC: 3:30pm – 1:00am, plus on-call until 7:30am the following morning

Please note: Shift times and roster requirements may vary based on departmental needs.

$3500 per rostered day.

What We’re Looking For

Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)

FACRRM doctors with substantial Emergency Department experience may also be considered

Current AHPRA Specialist Registration

Current Australian driver’s licence

Excellent communication and teamwork skill
