We’re seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist for a 3-month locum contract commencing in July, working across a varied adult rehabilitation caseload.

The Role

You’ll be based within a public hospital and your caseload will include:

  • Adult rehabilitation
  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Swallowing and dysphagia management
  • Communication and cognitive-communication disorders
  • Inpatient and outpatient services
  • Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team

What’s on Offer

  • Up to $70-$74 per hour + Super (depending on experience)

  • Full agency support – you consultant will work alongside you from your initial interview right through to your last day.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with SPA
  • Experience working with adult rehabilitation patients, particularly stroke and dysphagia
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A current driver’s licence, with access to a vehicle recommended, as accommodation is located in a neighbouring town
