The Role

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a private practice team in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Whether you are an experienced professional or a recent graduate, this position offers a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills. While the preference is a permanent presence within the clinic in Darwin, you have the flexibility of full-time remote work from anywhere in Australia.

In this innovative role, you will:

  • Operate a state-of-the-art Double Robotics Telepresence Robot while working remotely to consult with patients in the Darwin clinic.
  • Collaborate closely with an Allied Health Assistant in the clinic while working remotely to deliver in person, quality care.
  • Utilise your exceptional communication and coaching skills to effectively guide remote assistance with your AHA, who will be your in clinic, hands on clinician.
  • Manage a diverse caseload across the lifespan, tailored to your expertise.
  • Achieve 5-6 billable hours per day, with a KPI of 27 billable hours per week.
  • Travel to Darwin every 5 weeks if working remotely to stay connected with the team and clients.
