  • Fully remote position - work from anywhere in Australia
  • Competitive remuneration of $200 per hour
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekdays, evenings and weekends

CMR is partnering with a rapidly growing telehealth provider specialising in natural medicine and medicinal cannabis, as they continue to expand their clinical services following the commencement of several new contracts.

As a result of this growth, they are seeking three Psychiatry Registrars or Specialists to join their expanding clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking a fully remote Telehealth position offering flexibility, autonomy and an attractive work-life balance. For clinicians based in Melbourne, there is also the option to work from the organisation’s modern consulting facilities, should you prefer a hybrid or office-based arrangement.

About the Role
You will provide initial and follow-up consultations via Telehealth, undertaking comprehensive patient assessments, developing clinically appropriate treatment plans and managing ongoing prescriptions within your scope of practice.

Consultations are typically 10-15 minutes, with clinicians seeing approximately 3-4 patients per hour.

Patients may present with a range of conditions and therapeutic needs, including:

  • Anxiety and mood disorders
  • Stress and related mental health concerns
  • Chronic pain
  • Sleep disorders and insomnia
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Other approved therapeutic indications, where clinically appropriate

What’s on Offer

  • Fully remote position – work from anywhere in Australia
  • Optional access to modern consulting rooms in Melbourne
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekdays, evenings and weekends
  • Competitive remuneration of $200 per hour, available via PAYG or Pty Ltd
  • Comprehensive onboarding and structured training
  • Ongoing clinical support and professional development
  • Medicinal cannabis experience is welcomed but not essential
  • Full training and education provided to support safe, ethical and compliant clinical practice

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Psychiatry Registrar or Specialist qualifications/experience
  • A strong interest in Telehealth, natural medicine and emerging therapeutic approaches
  • Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills
  • A professional and collaborative approach to clinical care
  • An interest in developing further expertise in medicinal cannabis prescribing

Recruitment Process
Following an initial review of your CV and references, shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief interview with the Practice Manager.

This will provide an opportunity to discuss your clinical experience, the role and expectations, as well as identify any training or support required prior to commencement.

If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, please submit your most up-to-date CV and I would be happy to arrange a confidential discussion to provide further information and answer any questions you may have before progressing your application.
