About the Facility: Our Aged Care facility is an integral part of the community, delivering a wide range of services to support our residents.
Position Overview: We are looking for two dedicated Registered Nurses with a minimum of one year’s experience. Candidates should be well-versed in the latest aged care standards and SIRS. Experience in leading a small team of Personal Care Workers (PCWs) is a plus. This role is set in a dynamic environment where community engagement is key. We offer on-site education and development opportunities to help you advance your skills and career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to residents
- Assess, monitor, and respond effectively to clinical situations
- Lead and mentor a team of PCWs
- Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies, principles, and practices
About You:
- Experience in aged care
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing competencies
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Police Clearance and NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current AHPRA registration
