The Role: For this particular role, we’re looking for a Registered Nurse to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents within the mental health services team of this New South Wales public hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for young patients.

  • Providing therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and families.

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Educating patients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.

  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to case discussions.

The Location: For this contract you’ll be based in a quaint town along the popular Murray River. The nature and landscape in this area are beautiful with large national parks, world heritage lakes and botanic gardens. This town is approximately a 4-5 hour drive from Adelaide and 6 hours from Melbourne.

The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess: Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions. Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing, particularly in child and youth settings. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
