cmr has partnered with a leading health service to enganage an experienced Therapeutic Youth & Family Coordinator
for the following full time permanant or 12-month contract based in the East Arnhem reigon.

About the role:

This is an opportunity to work alongside young people, families, Elders and community stakeholders to support positive life pathways, strengthen family relationships and reduce involvement in the youth justice system.

Working within a culturally responsive and trauma-informed framework, you will provide intensive case management, therapeutic support and early intervention programs that empower young people and their families to achieve sustainable outcomes.

About you

  • Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Community Development, Youth Work, Counselling or a related field. (Diploma min)
  • Demonstrated experience in case management with vulnerable young people and families.
  • Experience working with remote Aboriginal and TSI communities.
  • Understanding of Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination and culturally safe practice.
  • Understanding of Social and Emotional Wellbeing, colonisation and intergenerational trauma.
