We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience to join a range of Regional, Rural and Remote hospitals across Queensland. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care in fast-paced emergency environments while supporting local communities with essential healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centred nursing care within a busy Emergency Department.
• Assess, monitor and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
• Accurately document patient care using electronic and/or paper-based medical records.
• Respond effectively in high-pressure and time-critical situations while maintaining professional standards.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support best practice patient care.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Triage and ALS certification (where required).
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Full Australian working rights.

Highly Desirable

• Rural and Remote nursing experience.
• Paediatric Emergency Department experience.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems (eMR/iEMR).
• Current mandatory competencies and up-to-date vaccinations.
