Tonia Manassakis – Acute Nursing & Midwifery

Yia Sas (Hello)! I’m originally from Crete, Greece. We moved here when I was around six years old and I’ve been a Brisbane girl ever since. My favourite part about being a Candidate Manager for the Acute and Midwifery team is the culture. Everyone loves their jobs, and everyone loves the people we work with. I get to chat to so many lovely nurses and clients every day and they almost become family as you get to know them more and more.

I’m originally from Suva, Fiji, having moved here when I was five and have been living in Brisbane ever since. I love being a coordinator because the consultants on my team are such lively, funny people and they make work such a fun place to be. My favourite part of coordinating is getting to see photos and hearing stories about the adventures people have while on placement! I’ve gotten to see a lot of Australia’s beauty this way and I’m grateful our candidates are willing to share those moments with us. They just brighten my day.

I am from Auckland, New Zealand! I love working within the Social Care and Mental Health space and hearing about the impact candidates are making in the communities. We are a small team, but we all work so well together and come together as a team to achieve our goals. I love catching up with the team each morning and sharing our wins from the week.

Zara Edmonds – Allied Health

I am from Lancaster in the United Kingdom and moved to Australia a few years ago. My favourite part about being a coordinator on the Allied Health team is helping to create a seamless experience for our Allied Health Workforce. The team is so supportive of one another and work hard to create the best experience for our candidates.

Barbara Bresaz – GP & Medical Admin

I grew up in Noosa but I moved to Brisbane just before the first COVID lockdown. The best part about being a coordinator on my team is working with Doctors – I feel like I am helping out people every day, as what I do helps get them placed and therefore helps them to help their patients.

I am from Brisbane, Queensland. I love working with the Hospital Doctors team and seeing the locations candidates are placed around Australia. Our collaborative approach allows us to find solutions for our clients and candidates to create the best experience possible.

Joash Arado – Travel

I was born and raised in the Philippines and my favourite part about working with our team is they all have unique personalities and we are always willing to help and assist you whenever you need them. We are also able to rely and trust one another so we can help each other accomplish every task for our candidates and clients. I am beyond grateful to be a part of CMR and create great experiences.

I am from Davao City, Philippines and I love being able to use an innovative mindset when figuring out complex travel-related challenges.
