cmr Celebrates Four Finalist Nominations at the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2026
We’re incredibly excited to share that Cornerstone Medical Recruitment (cmr) has been named a finalist in four categories at the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2026.
cmr has been recognised across:
• Employer of the Year
• Specialist Firm of the Year
• Candidate Experience
• Leadership Pathway Program

Being named a finalist across four categories at the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2026 means a lot to us, particularly because each one reflects an area that sits at the heart of who we are and how we work.
It’s also a special moment for us following our success at the APSCo Awards for Excellence two years ago, when cmr took home two awards: Best Brand and Learning & Development Program of the Year. That recognition was an incredibly proud moment for our team, and we’re excited to be back among the finalists again in 2026.
Our purpose has always been bigger than recruitment. We’re committed to building a happier healthcare workforce and creating great experiences for our candidates, clients and team. That means investing in our people, building genuine relationships, continuing to grow our healthcare expertise and always looking for ways to do things better.
Our Leadership Pathway Program finalist recognition reflects the way we’re investing in the growth of current and future leaders at cmr. Developing our people has long been part of our culture, with clear career pathways, professional development opportunities, training and mentorship helping our team continue to learn, grow and explore what’s possible.
Our nomination for Candidate Experience recognises the experience we aim to create for healthcare professionals from their very first conversation with us, throughout their placement and well beyond their final shift. From dedicated recruitment support and in-house travel and payroll coordination to simply taking the time to understand what matters to each person, we want every candidate to feel supported as part of the cmr community.
Being a finalist for Employer of the Year is particularly meaningful because of the people behind cmr. We’ve worked hard to create a culture where people can bring their best selves to work, feel connected to those around them and have the support and opportunities they need to thrive. Our values of Community, Respect and Explore continue to shape how we work together every day.
And our Specialist Firm of the Year nomination recognises the healthcare knowledge and market expertise our teams bring to every connection. Across our specialist recruitment teams, we take the time to understand the professions, organisations and communities we work with, helping us create stronger matches and better experiences for everyone involved.
To see cmr recognised across four categories at the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2026 is a reflection of the care, curiosity and commitment our team brings to their work every day, as well as the trust placed in us by the healthcare professionals and organisations we work alongside.
We’re incredibly proud of our team and the wider cmr community that continues to shape who we are today. Now, we’re looking forward to celebrating alongside so many brilliant people and businesses across our industry at the APSCo Australia Awards for Excellence in October.
