Doctors Division Supports Emergency Medicine Symposium

The Cornerstone Doctors team are excited to support the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Queensland Faculty at their upcoming Autumn Symposium on June 3 in Brisbane.
“We’re looking forward to speaking with the ACEM trainees and Fellows, discussing their plans and how we can assist with their Emergency Medicine journey” said Sahra Rabaud, Emergency Medicine Senior Recruitment Consultant.
Just by visiting the Cornerstone table and registering, you will have the chance to win a hamper that includes champagne, thermal keep cup and lunch cooler. Also, while chatting to our team, pick up a couple of goodies from our table like water bottles, grow kit or ‘doctor recharging’ sleep masks.
Cornerstone has Emergency trainees and FACEMS in locum and permanent roles Australia-wide. Take the time to discuss with the team where the opportunities are, how much you can earn and what our Doctors have to say about their experiences. On stand, we will have specific vacancies displayed and can advise on how we can support you to gain experience in other hospitals – something our locum trainees mention assists with their training.
While this one-day symposium is also offered online, ACEM are encouraging Doctors to attend in-person and enjoy the opportunity to network. This year the event is limited to 165 delegates due to COVID – 19 restrictions, so Doctors will need to register early to secure your attendance.
We’ve heard the plenary session ‘Walk the Line’ will be one not to miss! The program will also feature engaging interactive panel discussions on paediatrics and geriatrics emergency medicine. Doctors can choose between three breakout sessions: ECG workshop, New Fellows workshop and the Free Papers session.
The day will finish with reflections on the year that was 2020, followed by the welcome reception on the open deck overlooking Brisbane City.
